The official name of the Fort Worth to Dallas regional bike trail will be The DFW Discovery Trail. Once complete in 2024, trail users will find logos with different animals throughout the 66-mile journey. Other features include off-street segments through parks, green fields + business parks along the Trinity River. 🚲
Biz -
Dwell Coffee & Biscuits (3113 S. University Dr.) is officially closing its doors and handing its keys over to Hillsboro-based Overflow Coffee Co. The shop said it wanted to downsize and focus on family + growing its ice cream shops. You can still visit the original location in Burleson at 108 W. Ellison St. ☕

Get your sugar fix at the new churro food truck in the Near Southside. Leo’s Churro Bar is parked at 105 S. Main St. at Soma Micro Park. The menu features a variety of churro flavors including cinnamon sugar, chocolate dipped + fruity pebbles. It’s open Wednesday-Sunday 3-11 p.m. 🍦
Concert -
Fort Worth artist Leon Bridges is performing at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving (~30 northeast of downtown) tonight at 8 p.m. Leon will be joined by Little Dragon as he performs tracks from his 2021 album “Gold-Diggers Sound.” Grab your ticket to the show. 🎤
Festival -
Sample some of the best margaritas in town + vote for your favorite at the Fort Worth Margarita Festival on Sat., Sept. 10.
