Sat., Nov. 20

- Sign up for this race + you’ll get more than sore legs. When you register for the race you’ll also get to attend the after party, enter the costume contest, experience a pumpkin pie eating contest + scarf down delectable pumpkin spice treats. Bonus: there’s a virtual run option as well.
Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. | Start time is 10 a.m.
- If you love one-of-a-kind finds then this fall shopping adventure is for you. Stop by Will Rogers Memorial Center to discover unique handmade + vintage gifts for all of your loved ones.

GM Financial Parade of Lights 2021, Downtown Fort Worth | Start time is 6 p.m.
- Join Grand Marshal Opal Lee for this twinkling holiday parade with 100+ light filled participants, Santa, and a fresh cup of steamy hot chocolate. It takes place throughout the downtown area.
Holiday Pajama Brunch, 3400 Bernie Anderson Ave. | Start time is 11 a.m.
- Grab your girlfriends + your favorite comfy pj’s and head to this unique shopping experience. Gobble up light bites, complimentary mimosas, and find everything on your holiday shopping list.

- Calling all Cowtown thespians, Arts Fort Worth is holding auditions for its upcoming Original Works series. The first show, New and Improving by Jane Hatchett, follows a young adult maneuvering through social anxiety + new friendships. - The deadline to apply for the 2021 Neighborhood Awards is Thurs., Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. If you think your neighborhood association should be recognized for its commitment to beautifying, revitalizing + celebrating its community, consider applying. Winners will be announced Sat., Feb. 12 at the Mayor’s Neighborhood Awards Luncheon. 🏆

- For the first time since July, Tarrant County reported zero COVID-19 deaths + public health officials urge residents to take precautions as we approach the holidays. (NBC5)
Traffic
- Harmon Road will be closed east of FM156 to the Avilla Fossil Creek western driveway starting today. It will be closed in both directions + detour routes will be provided. The closure is expected to last for the rest of the year. 🛣️
Former TCU football coach Gary Patterson + Fort Worth-native and musician Leon Bridges lent a helping hand to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. The pair loaded up boxes + toured the facility that will serve thousands of families for the holidays.
