Hello Tuesday. April 23 2024 Fort Worth just put its name on the map for the best BBQ in the Lone Star State.🍖
Texas Monthly recently released its top 50 BBQ restaurants in Texas — for the first time in 4 years.
We’ve got all the fixins on the local barbecue you can try, as long as you get there before it sells out.
🥩 Goldee’s Barbecue — No. 1 in Texas, 4645 Dick Price Rd. A group of friends opened Goldee’s in early 2020 and it’s already getting recognition for its scratch-made classics: meats, sides, pickles + bread. Plus, customers can enjoy free beer while they wait to be served. Barbecue plate from Goldee’s Barbecue | Photo via @sawx04 🥩 Panther City BBQ — No. 10 in Texas, 201 E. Hattie St. Panther City BBQ’s mix of Tex-Mex and BBQ stole the show. Known for its brisket elote, the dive joint also serves up staples like spareribs, smoked turkey, sausages + pork belly poppers. 🥩 Dayne’s Craft Barbecue, 2735 W. 5th St. Dayne’s Craft Barbecue made a name for itself for how it sources its meat. It serves up specialty burgers like the jalapeño havarti, along with classics like the prime brisket, pulled pork + jalapeño-cheddar sausage links.
🥩 Smoke-A-Holics BBQ, 1417 Evans Ave. It’s not a trip to Smoke-A-Holics BBQ if you didn’t try the spicy collard greens, banana pudding, or a classic Coca-Cola cake. Other noteworthy dishes are the juicy turkey and chicken sandwich + crispy rib tips.
You want more? We’ve got more.
🥩 Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr. Woodshed Smokehouse is notorious for its 28-day dry-aged smoked brisket and beef ribs. You can get 3 ounces of brisket for just $9.
🥩 Heim Barbecue, 1109 W. Magnolia Ave. Sink your teeth in the most tender ribs in the city at Heim Barbecue. Order a combo pork rib plate and your BBQ cravings are bound to be satisfied.
Don’t go bacon my heart. ‘Meat’ your friends halfway and find a BBQ place y’all would love to try.
