Mayfest opens today for its 51st Anniversary. The spring fling will welcome back 200,000+ patrons across 33 acres in Trinity Park.

Organized by the Trinity Collaborative, Mayfest raises money for the Trinity River, surrounding parks, and community programs. Read on for an information-fest.

What to do

  • Eat everything from turkey legs to ice cream from 15+ vendors.
  • Drink up at the craft beer garden and vineyard.
  • Listen to 40+ local bands jam out on three stages.
  • See dance recitals and performances from local groups and youngsters on four community stages.
  • Experience everything from carnival attractions to rock climbing.
  • Shop 40+ art and gift market vendors.
  • Play in the Children’s Area (ages 3-12) with 20+ free activities.

When

  • Thursday, May 4 | 3:30-9 p.m.
  • Friday, May 5 | 3:30-10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 6 | 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 7 | 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

How much

Everyone gets free admission on Thursday + military families get in free all weekend (with a valid military ID). Tickets for Friday-Sunday are $12 for adults and $7 for kids and older adults.

How to get there

  • Park for $20 at Farrington Field or Dickies Arena Yellow Lot and catch the tram to the festival’s North Gate.
  • Carpool or rideshare + drop off at the South Gate.
  • Take Trinity Metro bus route 2 or 53.
  • Hop on a shared bike. Remember all Fort Worth Bike Sharing bikes are free on the first Friday of the month.

What to bring

Mayfest is cash-free, meaning credit and debit cards only, except in the Art and Gift Market. Bags, backpacks, and strollers are allowed but will be screened. Coolers and outside food + drink are not allowed. Peep the full list of policies.
